Unfortunately, Abby has a heart murmur, and while it is a serious condition, it is not serious enough to warrant drug surgery treatment. She has had a number of sonograms and you can download

She was spayed at 6 months and it was pitiful to watch her walk around with a bandage(Bandage1, Bandage2, Bandage3, GetBandage).
In November of 2000, we started to notice a limp in the left leg after exercise. This did not get better over time and so we made another visit to diagnose that problem. This turned out to be a partial tear in her cruciate ligament and surgery was required. Read all about the surgery online or download the PDF.
Surgery was February 22, 2001 and she stayed in overnight. This is a picture of her coming home on Friday and a close up of the wound.
Ten days later, she is almost putting full weight on the leg and enjoying a bone that Cate from across the street brought over. (Bone1, Bone2, Bone3).
